Certification of crimp tool

The certification of crimping tools means that each individual tool, during final assembly and inspection is documented in respect of:

• handle pre-load, the force required so that the lock preventing crimping finishing too soon shall be operated.

• crimp die nest heights, the greatest height measurement that can be measured at each outlet with the dies compressed.
