C-sleeve with unique design replaces 5 existing
sleeves
The patent pending C-sleeve C89 replaces 5
existing sleeves in Elpress program using the same
crimping dies and tools as the 5 existing ones. In other
words: There’s no need for a new Elpress tool. A common
application for this C-sleeve is jointing and branching
of stranded Cu earth cables and lighting conductor
installations. C89 has a working range between 16
– 50 mm2 per conductor and total capacity of 50 – 100
mm2 depending on the sum of the cross-sectional areas of
the two conductors. The unique design of the sleeve and
its new crimp geometry makes it possible to replace 5
existing sleeves with the C89 - an advantage for
the customers’ stock keeping as well as the electrician.

V250
A new light tool for crimping of terminals and
connectors for flexible and stranded Cu conductor 10-800
mm2, for Al conductor 16-630 mm2 and Cu branch
connectors up to 300 mm2.
V250 crimp head shall be used together with
Elpress foot pump P4000 or battery/mains powered
pump PS700 (230VAC/24VDC).
- V250 has all the function as V1400 and some more!

You use the same accessories as B-dies, matrix and
punches as for the 1400- and 2500-system. This means
that the V1400 is discontinued from Elpress product
range by the 1st of November 2005. The accessories for
the V1400 can still be purchased but now as spare parts.
The new crimping head V250 is developed at our own
technical department and is tested for a longer lifetime
then V1400. It has also a lower weight and takes larger
area for Cu conductors and Cu branch connectors. A fixed
crimping head in the V250 with new smart solutions for
handling of dies makes it possible to not have to change
and carry the heavy forks as for the V1400.

Elpress Mobile
A complete crimping tool solution does not have to be a heavy
load to carry. Elpress Mobile has a wide range of
interchangeable dies which enables the user to only have one
tool. The tool is designed for electrical installation engineers
who require a good hand tool – reliable, practical, safe,
economical and comfortable to use – readily in a tool box.
You purchase Elpress Mobile in two basic performances:
1. Mobile Installation, Mobile hand tool and two
interchangeable dies: OAA0525, for crimping of insulated
terminals,
0.5 - 2.5 mm2.
OEB0210, for crimping of end sleeves 0.25 - 10 mm2.
2. Mobile DataCom, Mobile hand tool and two
interchangeable dies:
OMP45, for crimping of modular plug, RJ45 contacts.
OCC1113, for crimping of coaxial contacts RG58, 59, 62, 71.

PS700 Analyzer
Each customer has now the opportunity to decide in which scale
crimping should be analyzed, examined and saved. The unique
possibility for saving makes it easy for all participants to
communicate. The special software is used to save data for
important documentation. In a simple way crimping can be
analyzed in a PC. Every crimp-cycle receives a unique ID-number.
With the help of the comfortable solution to convert data to
Excel, a lot of opportunities for quality control comes up. For
example to compare crimping graphs, to detect divergences and
system control.

PV611 is the newest member of the Elpress
range of battery crimp tools.
The most important features are:
- two-step crimp action for short crimp cycles
-6 ton force gives a crimp range up to 150 mm2 (KRF terminals), 240
mm2 (KRT) and 185 mm2 (KRD) as well as 50+50 mm2 C-sleeves
- uses the same crimp dies (types TB and KB) as the V611 manual tool
and the PV600 multifunctional tool.
Weight 4.4 kg incl. battery
Battery type NiMH, 2.6 Ah
Number of crimps per charge is normally >100 depending on size and
temperature.
Crimp time 4 - 7 sec depending on size.

PS700 is the first pump designed for battery
as well as mains powered crimping. The pump has very advanced
control functions offering new possibilities for recording and
follow-up of crimps made. The battery works with 24V and 3 Ah which
means a large number of crimps per charge. The main power unit makes
almost continuous work possible. Delivery September 2003.
